Every year we eagerly await the current Distillers Edition. The Oban Distillers Edition 2022 first matured in American and European refill casks. The whiskey was refined in post-charred Montilla Fino casks made from American oak with heavily charred American oak ends. The Montilla cask highlights Oban's unmistakable style and ensures a harmonious connection between fruit, spice and sea air.

Tasting Notes

• Nose : A salty sea breeze nestles around fruity notes of dry fino, hints of smoke and intense spices.
• Palate : Initially the whiskey is fruit-laden, then aromas of malt, waves of salt, delicate spices and white pepper unfold.
• Finish : Smoky-sweet finish supported by spices.

Our recommendation : The strictly limited Oban Distillers Edition 2022 is extremely popular among whiskey lovers. It is best to taste the whiskey neat or add a few drops of water.
