Technical informations

Grapes: Montepulciano, Syrah and Cesanese in the percentages provided by the DOC disciplinary.

Vineyards: areal of DOC Rome

Soil: volcanic, pozzolanic and sandy soils, located in hilly areas that are affected by the influence of sea breezes.

Training system: sparrow and cordon spurred.

Yield per hectare: 90 q.li approx

Vinification and ageing: maceration of grapes at controlled temperature until the end of the same, subsequent grinding and soft pressing of the marc. It follows a period of ageing part in steel and part in wood of various origin and capacity.

Sensory 

Colour: dark ruby red and bright

Bouquet: intense fruit ripe, cherry in spirit, Mediterranean scrub, red flowers, all complemented by pleasant balsamic notes.

Taste: very soft, fine tannins, balanced, elegant and pleasant. Remarkable persistence.
