Heaven Hill has officially announced the details of the spring 2022 release of the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond decanter series. 

The spring 2022 edition of Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a 17 year-old release, the oldest in the series to date. This bourbon was distilled in fall of 2004, aged on three different floors in rickhouse V, and bottled this spring. 

The series has ranged in age from last spring's 8-year release on the young end, up to a 16-year-old bottling available only at the distillery in 2020.

This Old Fitzgerald series serves as a tribute to bottled-in-bond requirements: it's bottled at 100 proof, aged for greater than four years, and is the product of a single distillery from a single distilling season.

As with all Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond spring releases, it will bear a green label, while black is reserved for fall bottlings.
