Yoichi Single Malt Non-Peated is made of unpeated malts as opposed to the preconceived “peaty” image of Yoichi. This results in a soft balance of fruitiness and rich mouthfeel, along with the expected smokiness created by coal-fired distillation. The palate has the spice from the nose that dissipates into a sweet and rich malty flavor. Mild notes of honey and demerara sugar that is somewhat sweet and salty. A long finish that is sweet and malty.
